SIZE & WEIGHT PF PREFAB MODULAR HOUSES
This 3-bedroom design is made from 6 numbers of 20ft (6m x 2.4m or 3m) cabins. 5 units are interlinked and divided into 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, 1 open kitchen, 1 dinning area and 1 living area. The overall building size is 12m x 7.3m/9m.
The total weight is approx. 10.8 tons. One 40ft High Cube Shipping Container can ship 2 sets of this house.
It is no problem to assemble a residential house 100% by manpower only. It is amazing especially at the place where has very limited infrastructure.
STEEL FRAME & WALL
The core of prefab modular housing is made from 6 units of standard cabin with sandwich panel external wall, fiber-cement board floor, PVC windows and metal doors. There is one cabin area (15m2) is designed as outdoor veranda. On top of the prefabricated house, Steel jacklegs are designed to lift the whole building up and 4-way slope roof help on better rain water discharged and better roof insulation. The veranda, jacklegs and slope roof make the house practical for rainy area.
WALL CLADDING
The wall cladding is fiber cement board with timber texture. We can fix the metal surface cabin easily. The original cladding is cement color, it can be painted any color you want.
ROOF
The modular residential building has its own roof structure to make the house core closed and waterproofed. The slope asphalt roof provides the double insurance on waterproofing and makes the building cozy and nice.
As per the above cabin roof, we use trusses which are made from galvanized steel hollow section. The roof tile, called asphalt roofing shingles, laid on top of OSB board which fixed to metal trusses.
Strip Shingles are the original and the most basic material available in the industry. Strip Shingles are denoted by the fact that they are single layered roofing shingles that are generally designed to look like slate. Strip Roofing Shingles have a very flat appearance on the roof line and are typically the lightest and predominant roofing shingles available and used in the market. Today, however, with significant advances in technology and consumer sophistication, Strip Shingles are used primarily by home builders for their economy priced homes' manufacturing or purchased by homeowners as replacement roofing shingles for homes that already have Strip Shingles on the roof.
